On May 22, 2026, the "Cross-Strait Intelligence Enterprise Sci-Tech Cooperation Delegation" visited Hekou County for on-site inspection and symposium. The delegation gathered representatives and experts from Taiwanese enterprises in AI, new materials, biotechnology and legal consulting to deepen cross-strait industrial integration and serve the national development strategy.   The delegation visited Basa Supervision Area and Nanxi River Port, learned about the planning, construction and layout of the Border Industrial Park, and experienced Hekou’s strategic location and convenient customs clearance as a key channel for China-Vietnam economic and trade cooperation.   At the symposium, Dr. Zhang Yirong introduced the project of comprehensive utilization of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery and low-carbon circular materials. Mr. Huang Qinglong shared fully bio-based degradable POP material technology. Dr. Qin Dajia presented the Action Plan and promoted the AI-powered cultural tourism project. The Investment Promotion Bureau introduced investment opportunities, and relevant departments answered inquiries.   Hekou County pledged to provide the best services for Taiwanese investors. Taking this visit as a new starting point, both sides will promote the implementation of sci-tech cooperation projects and jointly advance cross-strait industrial integration and China-Vietnam cross-border cooperation.

On the afternoon of May 21, 2026, the "Cross-Strait Intelligence · AI + Cross-Strait Sci-Tech Integration" Roundtable was successfully held at Rice Noodle Town, Mengzi. Dr. Qin Dajia released the Action Plan for Honghe Prefecture and launched the "Human-Machine Co-creation · Boundless Light & Shadow" project.
